Every year, Yaga’s Chili Quest and Beer Fest in Galveston, Texas, undertakes a single mission: to discover the finest chili, regardless of how many mouthwatering variations festival-goers are treated to. In its 15th year, the event showcased a chili tasting, a fun run, an indoor beer festival, and, undoubtedly, the fiercely competitive chili cook-off.
Here, teams passionately battled it out in both traditional and exotic chili categories. In particular, Marinda Haberer defending her 2023 championship title in the Regular Chili Cookoff.
